Strategic Planning, Business Operations and NPP Manager

**Job Purpose** : Lead strategic planning initiatives for GenMed China, drive transformation efforts, and manage New Product Planning (NPP) activities to support Sanofi's growth objectives in the Chinese market while ensuring operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities** :
**Strategic Planning (** **3** **0%)** :
+ Develop and refine the GenMed China strategy, aligning with global objectives and local market dynamics
+ Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives to drive growth and improve market position in China
+ Lead transformation projects to enhance organizational effectiveness and adapt to evolving market conditions
+ Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans
+ Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives and transformation efforts
+ Facilitate strategic planning workshops and alignment sessions with leadership teams
**New Product Planning & Commercial Assessment (** **5** **0%)** :
+ Lead commercial evaluations of both internal pipeline assets and external opportunities for the Chinese market
+ Develop and maintain commercial forecasting models and valuation analyses for potential in-licensing, acquisition, or partnership opportunities in China
+ Partner closely with BD teams to conduct thorough commercial due diligence on external assets
+ Create and present compelling business cases to support strategic investment decisions
+ Assess market dynamics, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies for pipeline assets in the Chinese context
+ Develop early commercial strategies and launch scenarios for pipeline products tailored to the Chinese market
+ Synthesize insights from multiple stakeholders to build integrated commercial perspectives
**Business Operations Excellence (20%)** :
+ Drive operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives within GenMed China
+ Develop standardized frameworks and tools for strategic planning and commercial assessment
+ Establish KPIs and tracking mechanisms for portfolio and strategic initiative performance
+ Lead cross-functional projects to improve business operations and decision-making processes
**Required Qualifications** :
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field; MBA preferred
+ 8+ years of pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience, with significant exposure to the Chinese market
+ Strong background in strategic planning, commercial strategy, and business transformation
+ Demonstrated experience in commercial assessment and valuation of pharmaceutical assets
+ Experience in leading cross-functional projects and change management initiatives
+ Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills
+ Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
