**The Opportunity**
This position works out of the Mississauga office in the Diabetes Care Division. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will lead the development and execution of value‑add programs within key diabetes clinics/enterprise clinics across Canada. Building on this cross-functional foundation, the Strategic Partnership Manager works closely with the Continuous Health Education (CHE) team, as well as Marketing, Sales, Digital Health Solutions and Medical Affairs. In this role you will design and implement strategic partnership initiatives that support clinical needs, drive brand differentiation, and strengthen Abbott’s presence in diabetes management.
**What You’ll Do**
Strategic Partnership Support
+ Work with key diabetes clinics/enterprise clinics to deliver innovative programs that drive added value to clinic stakeholders and help improve patient care.
+ Work with endo network to scale and coordinate strategic, system-level engagement across multiple clinics and stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with Continuous Health Education department to develop unique educational offering tailored to the diabetes clinic.
+ Development in partnership with marketing digital tools and assets to help drive sensor-technology adoption.
Market Shaping & Insight Generation
+ Identify emerging trends and unmet needs in diabetes care through engagement with key diabetes clinics and translate into tailored opportunities.
+ Work with various stakeholders to map workflows and assess potential for new pipeline adoption within the workflow.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Work closely with Training, Continuous Health Education, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Digital Health Innovation and Global Marketing to ensure cohesive execution of strategic initiatives that meet customer needs.
Performance & Planning
+ Contribute to strategic planning cycles and business reviews with data-driven insights and recommendations.
+ Monitor competitive activity and market developments to inform proactive strategy adjustments.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Degree in Engineering or advanced degree in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field.
+ Five plus years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical experience.
+ Experience in a Sales position is required.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
+ Understanding of the diabetes landscape, customer dynamics, and the ability to translate clinical and operational insights into meaningful, scalable programs.
+ Strong understanding of Canadian healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
+ Proven ability to translate customer insights into actionable strategies
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Sales or customer-facing experience
+ Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization.
+ Strategic thinker with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through innovation.
