Job Description
Proactively seek and direct conversations with prospective technology partners to drive innovative enhancements to their products by leveraging Verizon assets
• Manage commercialization funnel that evaluates partner capabilities, technical capabilities, market size, and partnership dynamics
• Gather customer feedback on technical and business challenges
• Assess Sports and Entertainment marketplace, present the complex ecosystems within the industry, and identify GTM opportunities for Verizon
• Perform detailed research reports on potential customers and partners, and prioritize partnership workstreams based on logic
• Identify product or technical opportunities, work with technical teams to trial
• Develop detailed and executive level strategies on partnership approach for teams, leagues, broadcasters, systems integrators, and technology partners

Skills and Requirements
4-6 years of overall professional experience
Sports & venue technology experience
Passion for sports—deep understanding of sports culture and fan engagement
Previous experience in a large enterprise—comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
Strategic mindset—can plan, think critically, and execute within a structured business environment
Doesn’t need to be highly technical but must be able to grasp technical concepts
Experience selling technical products
Strong background in business strategy and partnership development
Experience in channel partnership strategy—this is a key gap within the current team
Ability to identify, develop, and manage strategic channel partnerships to drive business growth
