Strategic Partner Development Manager, Social Impact
**Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries. + Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management. + Experience managing agreements or partnerships. **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience with multi-sector partnerships (e.g., philanthropic sector, government agencies, NGOs, education, health, or commercial sector) or related experience in business development, partnerships, product management, general management, sales or other related fields. + Experience designing and implementing processes and policies to improve Google’s ability to partner globally and ensuring partners are fulfilling their contractual obligations and Google is providing neccessary support for them. + Ability to clarify and summarize complex issues with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. + Excellent investigative and reasoning skills to structure partnership models and handle technical, contractual and financial issues. Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce. The Social Impact partnerships team enables unique product experiences. This includes developing partnerships that help users in moments that matter through products and features for enabling Google’s users to have trusted experiences and access information on philanthropic giving, user safety, digital literacy, climate and weather, crisis response, economic opportunity, health, learning and education, and civics. In this role you will develop and execute global partnerships that enable product teams to meet goals for efforts that address user needs across social impact topic areas. You will work closely with product leaders and cross-functional teams to source, negotiate, and execute complex partnerships for Google, and develop go-to market strategy for our products. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . **Responsibilities:** + Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage partnerships with entities of all sizes. + Develop cross-product area partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet the Google goals across rapidly changing industries. + Ideate and drive complex deals with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives. + Serve as the relationship manager for our current existing agreements. Help realize and optimize value from these partnerships while building effective long-term relationships. + Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
