Responsibilities Job Summary: The Strategic Operations Manager is an individual contributor essential for shaping our supply chain and manufacturing processes. This role focuses on identifying and implementing improvements within specific manufacturing platforms, such as Precook Eggs, Potatoes, and Extended Shelf Life. The Strategic Operations Leader supports long-term capacity planning and network optimization while facilitating commercialization efforts through data-driven insights and collaboration across teams. By combining strategic thinking with practical execution, this position enhances operational efficiency, aligns supply and demand, and drives business growth through scalable systems and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Capacity Planning & Network Optimization Analyze end-to-end supply chain data to assess capacity constraints and drive network improvements. Partner with Continuous Improvement and Operations teams to identify opportunities to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to optimize long-term capacity strategies based on network strategy and financial analysis. Contribute to capital investment justifications and cost-saving proposals through data-backed insights. Align long-range capacity planning with short-term production strategies to ensure demand fulfillment. Process Improvement & Performance Monitoring Identify inefficiencies and root causes using Lean Six Sigma tools, process mapping, and statistical analysis. Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes with clear KPIs, implementation plans, and cost-benefit justifications. Monitor operational metrics and report on performance trends, improvement progress, and compliance. Develop and maintain documentation of workflows and SOPs to ensure process consistency and audit readiness. Collaborate with stakeholders across Planning, Operations, R&D, Marketing, and Finance to resolve systemic challenges and align priorities. Commercialization Support & Project Coordination Support the execution of new product commercialization by managing operational deliverables within the stage-gate process. Coordinate across Marketing, R&D, Finance, and Supply Chain/Operations to ensure seamless product launches. Track project timelines and identify risks related to supply chain readiness. Assist in evaluating make-vs-buy decisions and support sourcing strategies with relevant data. Maintain documentation and visibility for co-manufacturing agreements and third-party supplier relationships. Qualifications Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, Lean Six Sigma, APICS/CSCP, PMP) preferred. Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or process improvement roles. Experience with cross-functional collaboration and commercialization support is strongly preferred. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with BI tools and supply chain software. Familiarity with ERP systems and performance dashboards. Ability to model processes, forecast capacity, and interpret supply chain analytics. The pay range for this position is $96,232 - $150,122 per year.
