Strategic Intelligence Analyst - ONSITE

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an experienced strategic Intelligence Analyst professional to join our team.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

The essential duties and tasks of the Strategic Intelligence Analyst assigned to the OCIAC include but are not limited to:

Write intelligence products and threat assessments on a variety of subjects, including but not limited to terrorism, organized crime, extremism, critical infrastructure, trafficking, and other criminal activityUtilize publicly available information and review real-time threats for officer safety, providing situational updates and assessments to leadership and tactical decision makersMentor entry level analysts by reviewing products, sharing best practices and contributing to their professional developmentCollaborate with interagency, federal, state, and local partners sharing various forms of intelligenceMonitor currents events, emerging threats, and relevant trends with potential impacts to the operational areaConduct analytical research and develop analytic intelligence productsProduce and distribute strategic and threat assessments, responding to requests for informationDevelop and maintain strategic analysis capabilitiesCollect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processesDevelop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirementsPerform additional duties as assignedParticipate in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDMust be able to obtain a Secret clearanceMust work onsite and be local to the areaA minimum of 3 years of research, analysis, and intelligence-oriented experienceProficient experience conducting intelligence analysis, trend analysis and formal briefsProficient in the intelligence cycleHighly organized with a strong attention to detailAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesProven ability to successfully engage and collaborate with federal, state, local, and tribal public safety agency executivesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentExceptional writing and public speaking skills to include briefings of public safety executives and public officials at all levels of governmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPointDesired active Secret clearance

Additional Requirements

Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support critical efforts and operations
 Must complete an Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) background check, including a possible polygraph examination, before commencing employment or performing services at the fusion center.
