Position Overview

The Strategic Initiative Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and implementing supplemental elite dealer plans. This role supports both company-owned (DSO) and IWD Sales Leadership teams, which manage customer and dealer relationships. Additionally, the position oversees strategic supplemental programs and serves as the primary liaison with our third-party training partner.

 

What you will do:

Major Responsibilities

Flagship and Strategic Sales Plans

Develop, analyze, and secure approval for flagship and strategic sales plans, including rebate, co-op, and financing components.

Support the strategy, execution, and measurement of all flagship and strategic partner sales plans.

Collaborate with sales, finance, customer experience, and marketing teams to ensure coordinated execution.

Partner with data analytics teams to create automated tools for tracking and managing supplemental sales plans.

Collaborate with analytics, pricing, and finance teams to standardize program-level P&L development.

Lead and coordinate quarterly performance reviews of flagship and strategic sales plans with DSO and IWD Sales Leadership.

Trade Warriors Program

Support recruitment efforts for dealer technicians as part of the Trade Warriors partnership.

Coordinate and participate in program events including graduations, Dealer Councils, and DSO/IWD presentations.

Manage purchase order processing relevant to program operations.

Work closely with marketing teams to promote the program and support public relations efforts.

Represent Trane Technologies at dealer events including TCS/CC Conference and IWD Dealer Meetings.

Serve as primary contact and relationship manager with the third-party training partner, including contract negotiation and renewals.

 

What you will bring:

Required Skills & Attributes

Proven experience in project management and/or program rollout.

Data driven decision making

Understanding of HVAC dealers and internal DSO or IWD business processes.

Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams, including pricing, sales, finance, customer service, and marketing.

Strong presentation skills for internal and external audiences.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Superior pipeline and time management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Highly proficient in Salesforce

Experience in HVAC industry sales and/or marketing is highly preferred

Demonstrated acumen in financial reporting

Experience in program/strategy execution

Willingness to travel up to 20%

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$97,406.66 - $135,834.99
