BAE Systems is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Cedar Rapids, Iowa hub. The role will report directly to the Business Area Director, HR - Precision Strike. This position plays a strategic role in driving organizational success by developing and executing people strategies that align with the business objectives. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker who can partner with business leaders to promote a high-performance culture that inspires employee engagement and drives performance excellence. Additional responsibilities of the role will include: + Advance talent management maturity through succession planning, talent development, retention, and workforce planning. + Ensure competitive compensation and reward practices through annual compensation planning and pay competitiveness analysis. + Foster high-performance teams, optimizing organizational design, and promoting culture adoption to drive organizational effectiveness. + Provide coaching and guidance to leaders. Analyze data to access organizational health, identifying risks, and driving actions to mitigate them. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s Degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required. + Must be willing to travel up to 10%. + Experience in an HR Business Partner role supporting an organization with a population of 500 employees. + Experience serving as a coach to senior leaders for their organization on HR matters relating to organizational strategies and business imperatives. + Experience working in a matrixed organization. + Ability to adapt and lead change, build trusted relationships, and influence. + Understanding of HR fundamentals (talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, employee and labor relations, people and culture, organizational change, learning and development, and organization effectiveness). + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. BAE Systems, Inc. will not offer sponsorship for this position. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience working for a government defense contractor. + Ability to develop and present senior level leaders with data-driven solutions that will effectively advance business strategies and drive change throughout their organizations. + Project management and prioritization skills with proven attention to detail. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $105835 - $179920 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
