Responsibilities Hudson Yards Experiences (‘HYE’) is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Finance Manager to serve as the right hand to the Head of Finance. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong investment banking foundation who is ready to take on a broader, hands-on finance leadership role. The Manager will lead financial analysis and modeling for strategic initiatives, evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities, and work directly with the C-suite and HYE’s investors. The position combines strategic finance and FP&A responsibilities, offering high visibility and impact. Key Responsibilities Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build, stress-test, and quality-check complex models, delivering insights and recommendations to support executive and investor-level decisions. Strategic Projects & M&A: Evaluate, model, and execute organic and inorganic initiatives, including new business cases, partnerships, acquisitions, and capital allocation opportunities. Executive Decision Support: Analyze ambiguous questions and large data sets, distilling clear takeaways and actionable insights for the executive team and board members. End-to-End Project Leadership: Drive initiatives from initial idea through deep analysis, stakeholder alignment, and execution — carrying projects across the finish line. Investor Materials: Draft board and investor presentations, financial performance updates, growth strategy decks, and special project memos. FP&A Responsibilities: Partner with accounting and department leads to ensure reporting consistency, support annual budgeting and planning, and provide forward-looking analysis to inform strategy. Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Anticipated base salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 / year Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of aggregate work experience, with at least 3 years of investment banking experience (or equivalent in PE, corporate development, or strategic finance). Additional FP&A and / or start-up experience is a plus. Proven ability to independently build, run, and QA financial models for valuation, scenario planning, and M&A. Strong foundation in data analytics, corporate finance, and accounting. Exceptional problem-solving skills — able to analyze complex, ambiguous questions and synthesize clear recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing materials for boards, investors, and senior executives. Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Learning agility: eager to quickly absorb and apply new concepts and technologies. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across departments and with external stakeholders.
