Portfolio Management - Articulate, and guide the development of long-term goals and initiatives that foster the ministry’s growth trajectory. Develop a mechanism for tracking initiative health and proactively identify risks requiring attention.Governance - Defines and oversees demand management expectations for team and partners. Including but not limited to working with market executives to establish and maintain a robust Market Governance process that ensures all technology requests are strategically aligned, properly vetted, and prioritized. This process encompasses ideation, evaluation, and decision-making, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that decisions align with both short-term needs and long-term strategic objectives.Escalations and Problem Resolution - Serves as the primary point within the market for partners and team members to escalate technology problems with both projects and routine operations. Skilled in independently assessing the issue and owning the engagement of the appropriate stakeholders to overcome.Expert Advising - Shape and influence market partners' strategic technology decisions through expert guidance, persuasion, and negotiation. The Director fosters a culture of collaborative decision-making, where market partners are empowered to make informed choices, while also skillfully navigating resistance and setting boundaries without directly rejecting ideas. The goal is to eliminate a passive, \"order-taking\" mentality and instead create a proactive, solution-oriented partnership.Servant Leadership - Leading, guiding, giving feedback with influence and ownership without direct reporting structure of associates.
