Strategic Data Analyst (Temporary)
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive business growth? JTI Korea is looking for a Strategic Data Analyst to support our Marketing team with data-driven decision-making. For a 12-month period, you will manage GIS, consumer, and trade insight projects, analyze multiple data sources, and build strategic models that enhance targeting, segmentation, and marketing efficiency. You’ll also help manage our business intelligence platforms and dashboards while collaborating across functions to deliver innovative solutions that shape the future of our marketing strategies. This position can be converted to permanent depending on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead GIS and spatial data projects to improve consumer targeting and market execution.
Analyze and integrate trade, consumer, and internal data to provide actionable insights.
Manage and enhance BI tools and data platforms to ensure data accuracy and usability.
Develop dashboards and visual reports aligned with business needs.
Support cross-functional initiatives and provide ad hoc analysis to marketing and sales stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
University degree in GIS, Urban Planning, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
3+ years of data analytics experience, ideally including spatial or big data analysis.
Proficiency in tools like ArcGIS/QGIS, R, Python, and Power BI.
Strong understanding of data modeling, visualization, and CRM/BI integration.
Fluent in both English and Korean.
Commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset.
