Position Profile: Strategic Client Executive
The Strategic Client Executive is a high-level account management role responsible for cultivating relationships with senior executives (VP and above) across an assigned client portfolio (up to five accounts). This role collaborates closely with Partner Executives and Industry Strategists to develop and execute account strategies aligned with broader industry goals.
Key Responsibilities Develop and strengthen relationships with senior-level client executives. Understand client business challenges and objectives through strategic engagement. Lead the business planning process in collaboration with clients, focusing on account-level strategy. Create a 12–18 month roadmap aligned with both client and industry strategies. Drive profitable growth through meaningful client interactions, contract retention and expansion, and service additions. Align internal resources—including sales, operations, and subject matter experts—to support client initiatives. Provide thought leadership and foster trust through collaborative engagement. Clearly communicate Ricoh’s industry position and value proposition. Build internal relationships to support account retention and growth. Navigate and manage client approval processes through key sponsors. Achieve or exceed revenue and gross profit targets. Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and data daily. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 10+ years of account management experience. Proven experience working with executive leaders in Fortune 1000 companies. Demonstrated success in growing service-based offerings. Skills and Competencies Strong collaboration and influence-building capabilities. Thought leadership in client engagement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactive mindset with creative problem-solving abilities. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders. Familiarity with Ricoh’s offerings and solutions. Solid understanding of solution design processes. Technologically proficient. Working Conditions Primarily office-based with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels. Diverse work assignments requiring comprehension and application of complex information. Minimal physical effort; mostly sedentary with occasional walking, standing, and light lifting (under 10 lbs). Moderate dexterity required for tasks involving calculators, keyboards, and basic tools. Approximately 30% travel required, which may include overnight stays.
