Strategic Business Development, AWSI Energy
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the adoption of cloud technologies for Oil & Gas customers. The AWS Energy & Utilities Business Unit is looking for professionals to support and deliver strategic relationships with the most influential customers in Energy. The dynamic nature of the Energy ecosystem, the growing needs of AWS and Amazon.com, combined with the evolving capabilities of our Energy customers creates opportunities for strategic collaboration across diverse businesses and organizations. We are looking for a technical BD professional with a demonstrated track record of structuring, guiding and closing complex agreements. The candidate will collaborate with Energy customers at the highest levels, manage relationships and progress workstreams across diverse organizations.

This leader will be a creative problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

This role is inherently multi-functional – In addition to identifying customer needs and capabilities, this leader will work with Amazon and AWS organizations to craft collaboration relationships that create mutual benefit.

This leader will have depth of experience sufficient to engage business operations leaders in power and/or oil and gas, and have sufficient technical knowledge to identify and scope innovations leveraging AWS and partner cloud technologies. A 'cloud-native' mindset is required.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to invent the future.
