Job Title: Strategic Asset Manager

Location: T2 Trinity Park

Working hours: 40 hours per week

The Strategic Asset Manager will have oversight and ownership of the contract's constantly evolving Asset and PPM database, held within our CAFM system - Maximo. Alongside a small team of colleagues, you will co-ordinate and manage changes to the database resulting from contractual, technical and legislative changes. With c. 900 buildings, 140,000 assets and 14,000 PM to administer the role is challenging but rewarding. It is a role that requires a very high level of attention to detail to ensure that the standardisation and integrity of the Asset and PPM database is maintained throughout the life of the contract. 

Candidates will be required to meet the requisite vetting standards (BPSS & NPPV Level 2) to work on applicable DfT sites and manage data.

The Strategic Asset Manager will be ensuring that all asset data within the CAFM system (Maximo) is accurate and up to date, ensuring Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) plans in the CAFM system are accurate and up to date. You will report to the client in relation to assets and PPM plans, in line with contractual requirements and generate the contractual Forward Maintenance Plan (FMP) and Capital Replacement Plan (CRP) for each business unit and across the contract. You will work with operational and support colleagues to ensure that assets and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) records are managed via an auditable change process that flows through to the master asset register.

Additional responsibilities include:

Co-ordinate and manage changes to Maximo resulting from contractual, technical and legislative changes - for example, changes derived from SFG20.  Carry out a programme of site asset validations – with all deviations highlighted and discussed with the client as required through contractual commercial processes. To carry out training of operational teams at site level as required, and to take part in delivering induction training in relation to asset management as part of the new starter programme. Comply with all current UK and European Health & Safety Environmental Legislation. Attend client and regional internal meetings as necessary and as contractually required. 

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in computerised PPM schedules and CAFM systems, preferably Maximo and good knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services, building fabric and the interaction between them. You will have knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance requirements as well as experience of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality systems.
