Raytheon is seeking a leader to serve as a **Strategic Advisor** for our Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) portfolio. This temporary advisory role requires expertise in operational testing, experimentation, and strategic engagement to advance Raytheon’s mission of delivering next-generation, cross domain solutions to counter evolving global threats. This role will provide critical feedback on future capabilities to senior leaders responsible for making resource decisions. **What You will Do:** + Serve as a senior advisor to the LADS leadership team, providing insight on operational relevance, experimentation pathways, and capability integration across the LADS portfolio. + Guide internal teams on test strategy, operational validation, and experimentation frameworks to accelerate fielding of innovative technologies. + Build and sustain deep customer intimacy with the DoD customer and other government agencies, maintaining awareness of their evolving mission needs, strategic objectives, and satisfaction with Raytheon’s solutions + Champion Raytheon’s integrated solutions- from advanced sensors to precision weapons- across US Army, US Marine Corps, or and over 50 allied and partner nations. + Support strategic alignment with international partners, ensuring interoperability and mission success across joint and coalition operations. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years’ experience + Minimum of twenty years of experience in military leadership roles, including direct involvement in operational testing, experimentation, and capability development. + Experience in integrated air and missile defense systems, including sensor fusion, precision weapons, and cross-domain operations. + Experience with engagement with US Dept of Defense agencies, including Army Futures Command, Marine Corps Combat Development Command, and Joint Staff. + Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
