About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our North America Enterprise sales team. In this role, you’ll expand Red Hat’s existing customer base selling to disruptive federal systems integrators. You will sell consulting services to encourage the fast adoption of Red Hat's core solutions, and cross-sell all Red Hat’s offerings. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will work closely with individual product engineering, professional services, and product support teams to ensure an excellent customer experience with Red Hat's offerings. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. This is an individual contributor role.
What you will do:
The Strategic Account Manager 4 will manage an account base of disruptive federal systems integrator accounts and is responsible for net new opportunity generation and existing renewal baseline
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and possess a hunter mentality to aggressively pursue this important book of accounts. Travel is required to meet the needs of this nationwide customer base. The Management team places an emphasis on Net New pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy and attention to detail.
Sell the complete Red Hat solutions portfolio, including professional services
Work closely with account solutions architects to identify key projects, programs, and offices to sell Red Hat’s solutions
Develop key accounts and create long-term partnerships with customers
Manage a complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Manage the account planning process and delivery of strategic plans
What you will bring:
8+ years of solutions sales experience
Solid understanding of the open source model, DevSecOps, and digital transformation
Knowledge of autonomous systems, unmanned systems is highly desired
Strong AI/ML knowledge as it applies to public sector requirements
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong communication skills around complex business and technical topics
Presentation skills including public speaking, meeting facilitation, and white boarding
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in business administration is a plus
Ability to accommodate business travel for delivering customer engagements
The salary range for this position is $216,990.00 - $358,000.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
