Strategic Account Manager
**Summary:** Meta is looking for a hardworking, proactive strategic account manager to drive revenue growth within retail partners accounts in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The position will involve building and leveraging high-value retail relationships in the Japan retail market supporting the Meta hardware products vision. This person will be charged with developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy at the customer level as a subset of the overall organizational vision.The strategic account manager is responsible for delivering revenue and exceeding sales targets through partner selling activities. **Required Skills:** Strategic Account Manager Responsibilities: 1. Define and manage an annual business plan, quarterly business review with key retail accounts 2. Communicate business plans to internal/external stakeholders and develop executive relationships with key retail account stakeholders 3. Plan all new product launches in collaboration with marketing and business operations, deliver clear and concise communication and plan to partners to identify and develop business opportunities 4. Support co-marketing allocation and operate within annual budget 5. Review Sell In/Out data to identify new opportunities within existing product ranges 6. Negotiate and manage trade funds in partnership with retail marketing to create customer and company value by consistently measuring and enforcing trade terms and identifying opportunities for improvement 7. Negotiate, execute and manage commercial strategies and contracts 8. Work closely with Operations to implement a CPFR process with retail and distributor partners 9. Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 10. Knowledge of the Japan retail market, industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape 11. Experience in delivery of sales quotas against business plans 12. BA/BS/Master's in Business or Marketing related field (or similar work experience) 13. 7+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development 14. Negotiation and communication experience with experience in operators, retail & distribution agreements 15. Solid internal and external communication skills 16. English & Japanese language fluency **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 17. Experience managing retail partners through distribution channels and/or manufacturer representative firms 18. Experience working with CE products retailers in Japan: Amazon, Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera, Yamada Denki and Edion 19. Experience in sales and marketing on Amazon (account management, paid search and display advertising) 20. Demonstrated negotiation skills, "business-owner" and highly data-driven mindset **Industry:** Internet
