We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Strategic Account Manager – Healthcare to join our team in the UK to help lead our relationship with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), including NHS England (NHSE).
Healthcare is facing unprecedented challenges due to long waiting lists, funding cuts and a workforce under pressure. At the same time, AI and other technologies are opening up entirely new approaches to healthcare delivery that can improve outcomes, enhance efficiency and give hard pressed workers time back to care.
We are looking for a leader with a passion for supporting the NHS and a highly collaborative working style to help our customers transform healthcare in the UK, resulting in positive commercial outcomes and customer satisfaction.
As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to unlock transformation in partnership with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), including NHS England, to help achieve their goals and address the challenges of the sector.
You’ll work with a team, including a partner Account Executive and an Account Technology strategist, and leverage a large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio. With your deep understanding of the NHS, you’ll engage at the most senior levels of DHSC and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us with:
+ Proven track record in strategic account management, ideally within healthcare or public sector
+ Ability to lead virtual teams in matrixed environments, build and maintain strong relationships, and manage complex sales cycles
+ Strong understanding of DHSC’s operating environment, challenges, and transformation agenda, and familiarity with NHS structures, funding models and digital health initiative
+ Deep understanding of the Microsoft product offering and the opportunities this presents to transform healthcare
+ Outstanding communication, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
**Responsibilities**
+ Co-Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year account strategy for DHSC, focusing on long-term growth and partnership, based on a deep understanding of the NHS
+ Orchestrate the execution of strategies, drive plans to increase transformational impact, and create new opportunities for both Microsoft and the partners, aligned to DHSC’s goals.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, decision-makers, and influencers in the account and across the partner landscape.
+ Co-lead and coordinate a diverse team on plan execution and drive accountability, working closely and effectively with partner Account Executive and Account Technology Strategist aligned to DHSC, building a positive and supportive working culture and excellent communications.
+ Articulate Microsoft’s value and point of view across multiple levels of the customer’s organisation, working across the team to bring this vision to life. Help to build compelling business cases to develop and present value propositions in line with the NHS’s decision making and governance structures.
+ Monitor and report on account performance, providing effective updates to senior management and stakeholders.
+ Remain informed on the NHS’s challenges and opportunities and use this knowledge to drive strategic initiatives, prioritise and create value
+ Represent Microsoft at industry events, conferences and meetings, promoting our capabilities and solutions.

**Qualifications**
+ Experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with senior level executives in the NHS
+ Experience in working in Healthcare, including experience with driving digital transformation
+ Experience closing large, complex agreements/deals
