PURPOSE

Ensure critical spare parts are on the shelf and in good working order.Ensure critical spare parts are retrievable by an easy to use query search program.Aid in spare parts inventory reduction for duplicate and standardized applications.Create shipping labels for all repairable assets going out for repair.Work with the Material Handler to move parts to correct stock location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive and process all incoming orders into the ERP system to ensure accurate and timely inventory updates.Manage inventory levels across all stock locations on-site, ensuring availability of critical parts while minimizing excess.Review and maintain MIN/MAX levels for all inventory items to support efficient replenishment and reduce stockouts.Issue parts and materials to appropriate departments, tracking usage down to the machine level for cost accountability.Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.Ensure inventory control practices are followed consistently across all storage areas.Maintain clear and timely communication with the Purchasing, Maintenance, and Accounting teams to support operational alignment and financial reporting.Ensure that on-hand quantities are accurate in the spare parts inventory tracking system.Requisition for Factory Stores or general purchase items using Epac/Syteline.Manage non-stock inventory cage. Ensuring the requestor recovers their requested items.Review Factory Stores parts that have no historical usage and determine if the part is obsolete with the help of the maintenance team.Responsible for maintaining a receiving log for all packages received in. Each package that is non-stock will need to be signed for by the requested part.Maintain a Quarantine Receiving area for all packages damaged or may have other issues.

INTERFACE

Interfaces with internal departments and external vendors to ensure inventory and repairable asset processes are aligned.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years experience in Factory Stores/ Stockroom management or equivalent.Must have good working knowledge of MS Office.Intermediate level skills in MS Access and Excel is desired.Must have knowledge of maintaining equipment in heavy industrial environment.Knowledge of inventory controls.
