We are now seeking an organized & detail-oriented Storeroom & Purchasing Coordinator to join the Finance & Purchasing Team at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy keeping everything running seamlessly, this role is perfect for you. **What are my responsibilities?** **Inventory & Requisitions** + Check and receive items & transfers between departments based on approved requisitions + Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements **Food & Beverage Cost Control** + Organize, track, and communicate food cost data to relevant departments + Support the finance team with data entry and reporting during the monthly closing cycle + Assist in the costing and pricing of new menu items **Quality Control** + Conduct regular inspections of storeroom, ensuring proper FIFO & PAR stock practices and monitoring expiry dates + Monitor and control spoilage of F&B items across outlets + Assist the Receiver with processing and quality-checking daily fresh food deliveries and ensuring proper storage **Systems & Compliance** + Ensure strict compliance with Marriott storeroom policies, with strong emphasis on inventory security + Book daily receiving items into the purchasing system **What makes you the perfect fit?** You enjoy working in an international environment and are passionate about numbers and hotel operations. You enjoy working with people and being part of a team. You have great communication-, organization- and negotiation skills and you enjoy analyzing data and reporting.
