**Description:**
The **Storeroom Clerk – Stewarding** is responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of stewarding storage areas, including china, cutlery, glassware, and other service equipment. This role ensures that all items are properly stored, inventoried, and readily available to support smooth food and beverage operations.
From time to time, the Storeroom Clerk will assist with stewarding duties, supporting the team in maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency across the resort’s kitchens and outlets.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Organize and maintain storage areas for china, cutlery, glassware, and other stewarding items.
+ Ensure accurate inventory control and proper rotation of equipment.
+ Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards in storerooms.
+ Collaborate with the stewarding team to support daily operations.
+ Assist with stewarding duties as needed, including dishwashing, cleaning, and equipment handling.
+ Report any shortages, damages, or maintenance needs promptly.
+ Uphold Hyatt standards of care, safety, and guest service excellence.

**Qualifications:**
**Education & Experience**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Previous experience in stewarding, storeroom management, or hospitality operations preferred.
**Skills & Competencies**
+ Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills.
+ Ability to maintain accurate records and inventories.
+ Team player with a collaborative mindset.
+ Flexibility to assist in stewarding operations when required.
+ Good communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
+ Physical ability to lift, move, and handle equipment safely.
