POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Planning Manager with expertise in Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) solutions to support Ulta Beauty’s Strategic Initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Planning Director as a collaborative partner to many cross-functional teams to execute and project manage space plans that deliver key results in support of both existing and future strategic initiatives. Space plans are inclusive of developing and managing both optimized store layouts and planogrammed assortments that maximize sales, improve customer experience, and align with company goals. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Floor & Space Plan Development: Lead and execute both merchandised store floorplans and planogrammed assortments in partnership with the floor and space planning teams that align with merchandising strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Planning, Assortment Analytics, Visual, IT and store operations to ensure execution of store layouts that align with business objectives and customer needs. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains within the Store Planning workflow. Operational Expertise: create key process documentations and present necessary deliverables for executing with excellence to cross-functional teams in support of end-to-end project initiatives (i.e, international, wellness expansion, etc) Leadership: Partner with multiple levels of leadership to analyze and prepare recommendations for in store experiences through merchandised store layouts that ensure correct planograms are listed to stores Project Management: Manage multiple merchandising store projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring timely delivery of results. Communication: Present and influence complex ideas with the ability to translate them into simple digestible documentation for cross functional leadership. Strategic Vision: Support the translation of a long-term vision/roadmap into actionable project charters that define project scope, timing, resource requirements, budget, etc. Analysis: Ability to interpret space productivity data and partner with Assortment Analytics team to deliver space analysis that drive recommendations to build productive space plans. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Management: Manage multiple merchandising store projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring timely delivery of results. Communication: Present and influence complex ideas with the ability to translate them into simple digestible documentation for cross functional leadership. Strategic Vision: Support the translation of a long-term vision/roadmap into actionable project charters that define project scope, timing, resource requirements, budget, etc. Analysis: Ability to interpret space productivity data and partner with Assortment Analytics team to deliver space analysis that drive recommendations to build productive space plans. REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION: Proficiency in Blue Yonder (JDA) Floor/Space Planning software is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations, space/floor planning, or merchandising. Strong strategic mindset, with critical reasoning and qualitative analysis experience (Power BI, Excel) Self-starter able to successfully execute against departmental goals with minimal guidance Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Strong working knowledge in, Word, Excel, Access, and Power-Point Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional manner Able to influence and drive accountability among associates across multiple departments Able to develop presentation materials for communicating strategies to key stakeholders Enthusiastic, persistent, action-oriented, and a strong sense of accountability Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and quality assurance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively. Working Conditions: Typical office environment at ULTA Corporate Office. Minimal travel may be required for quarterly visits to local stores, prototype stores and related seminars as needed. The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $120,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
