An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join the George Store Change team this is a field base role requiring extensive travel, this is North based role but will include covering schemes South based when and if required.

Working within the wider Store Development team, the C8 Store Change Implementer is a pivotal role in the planning, implementing and follow up delivery of change for George.

You will be fully responsible and accountability for landing all elements of George change within the Asda corporate change/new store programme and George Trading Project programme.

The in’s and out’s:

Fully responsible for landing all elements of George change within the Asda corporate change/new store programme and George Trading Project programme

Working closely with the Asda Store Development teams, George Space teams & George Teams

Full site co-ordination for the George store change implementation ensuring construction, fixturisation and 3rd parties deliver the agreed scheme timelines

Full accountability to make on site decisions to fix problems which occur on site

Work with the Store Change Manager to deliver EDLC change which will deliver the business and financial objectives of the corporate schemes and feedback to Senior Manager potential efficiencies in costs

To influence and communicate at all levels of the business to deliver the change schemes including GSM’s and Senior managers during and post change to ensure improvement through a ‘better together’ approach

Full responsibility for the product overlays of schemes, to deliver the ‘right first time’ customer and financial objectives

To develop and maintain a network of key stakeholders to ensure the efficiency and execution of store change

Support the Store Change Manager with reviews pre and post on-site

To support the Store Liaison Manager with identifying and driving accountability of Health and Safety practices on site during store change

Required to be up to date with current thinking within space, layout and VM to ensure each store change represents current business objectives

Support and develop the Your Voice process and a commitment to driving improvements in opportunities as well as maintaining strength areas.

The role encompasses working right across the Asda Estate in stores, Asda House and George House therefore there is a high amount of travel and working away required

What you’ll need:

An excellent team player with great communication skills

Ability to create and develop key stakeholder relationships across different functions in AH/GH

Strong planning, organisation and administration skills

Ability to work remotely and problem solve

Proactive, innovative and a forward thinker with an ability to manage your own time and workload

Attention to detail with strong planning, analytical and implementation skills with a right first time approach

Ability to be able to travel and work away from home and overnight stays up to 3+ nights

Weekend working is required for this role

Have a full driving license

Fully flexible and working long hours while onsite
