Position Description

The Kibali Gold Mine Team is seeking to recruit a STORE ISSUING to join and grow our team.

Responsibilities:

Receive and process material requisitions from authorized personnel Accurately pick, pack, and issue materials according to established procedures. Verify material quantities and specifications against requisitions and delivery documents Prioritize urgent requests and ensure timely delivery of critical materials. Ensure stock is booked out accurately, reservation and paperwork are correctly filled, SAP is updated accordingly with no delays Ensure stock in the bin is counted (Where applicable) and compare to SAP quantity after posting of the transaction Maintain accurate inventory records using the mine's inventory management system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).  Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.  Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor.  Assist in identifying and managing slow-moving or obsolete inventory.  Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or deterioration. Adhere to all mine safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).  Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.  Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with safety guidelines.  Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor.  Comply with all company policies and procedures related to warehousing and inventory management

Qualification Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.  Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.  Proficiency in using inventory management software and barcode scanners.  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.  Excellent organizational and time management skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.  Forklift license is a plus   

Experience and Skills Requirements:

Qualified artisan with at least 3 years’ experience in a mining or related environment   Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
