Position Overview:

The Store Infrastructure Associate (Level 1) is responsible for providing first-line support and maintenance for the technology infrastructure across Maurices’ retail stores. This role focuses on ensuring the availability and proper functioning of store hardware—including registers, pinpads, printers, and associated peripherals—by performing routine checks, troubleshooting basic issues, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support. The Associate works closely with store personnel and the Core Tech team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain operational standards.

Performance requirementsPerform daily checks and basic troubleshooting for store hardware (registers, pinpads, printers, peripherals).Respond promptly to support requests from store personnel, providing clear communication and resolution for common technical issues.Escalate unresolved or complex problems to Level 2/Lead technicians as needed.Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and equipment status in ServiceNow and other tracking tools.Assist with inventory management and asset tracking for store infrastructure components.Support new store deployments and hardware installations under the guidance of senior team members.Follow established standard operating procedures and contribute feedback for process improvement.Ensure compliance with company standards for security, safety, and operational excellence.Participate in training sessions to build technical skills and knowledge of store systems.Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations and customer satisfaction.Work Experience and education requirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.1+ years of experience in a technical support or customer service role, preferably in a retail environment.Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in resolving technical issues.Provide excellent customer service to store personnel, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.Communicate effectively with team members and escalate issues appropriately.Adhere to defined standards and procedures for hardware support and incident management.Basic technical knowledge of store hardware (registers, printers, pinpads, peripherals) and general troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and asset management tools is a plus.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00
