Position Responsibilities

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers  Pick up returns and coresDrop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs  Daily collection of credit accountsBuild and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries  Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction valueMaintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot  General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle countsMaintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with salesEngage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or servicesOther duties as assigned

Essential Job Skills Necessary for Success as a Driver

Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers,0 peers and leadershipRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manualsUse basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals   Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as neededConfidence in engaging customers and promoting productsWilling to learn about new products and sales techniques

Prior Experience that Sets a Driver up for Success

Automotive parts experience is preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
