The Role

Senior Storage IT Specialist for Client on Traditional and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM).  

As a member of the Kyndryl Italia Innovation Services Infrastructure Services organization,  

the Storage IT Specialist will use in-depth expertise to manage large storage farm, based on different technologies and different manufacturer.  

Who You Are

Required Professional Expertise 

A proven track record of management expertise on large-scale Storage environments 

Minimum of 3 years IT operations experience 

Cloud technologies experience 

Understanding of Unix/Linux and virtualization technologies 

Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology requirements 

Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills 

Able to navigate fast paced and rapidly evolving environments 

Job Profile Skills and Skills Levels 

Fundamental requirements: 

A proven experience on DELL DataDomain 

Experienced on Brocade SAN 

Experienced on Netapp 

Knowledge on AIX 

Knowledge on VMWare vSphere (latest version) 

Knowledge on Microsoft Windows Server (latest version) 

At least one between: 

A proven track record on EMC Storage Family: EMC VPLEX - PowerMax - ECS  - IBM Storage System

A proven track record on Pure Storage FlashArray 

Additional Requirements: 

Cloud platform: Certified Fundamentals on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud (at least 1 of them) 

Experienced Red Hat Gluster Storage (nice to have Certification RH236) 

Experienced Cisco SAN  

Experienced IBM Flash System 

Experienced in Disaster Recovery solutions and tests 

Scripting 

Personal Traits 

Self-motivated, driven 

Attention to detail and meticulous concept of operation 

Strong appetite to learn 

Willingness to travel if needed 

Motivated by high growth business environment
