Team Activities

Design and implement new features in Ceph (RGW, RADOS, RBD, CephFS) Optimize storage system performance, scalability, and reliability Troubleshoot distributed storage issues and debug low-level system behavior Participate in upstream Ceph development and community discussions Integrate Ceph with Kubernetes via Rook and CSI drivers Monitor and improve system observability using telemetry and metrics Plan and execute development tasks using Agile methodologies Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and internal knowledge sharing

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in C++ and Python (5+ years) Hands-on experience with Ceph (any of RGW, RADOS, RBD, CephFS) Solid understanding of Linux internals (I/O, memory management, threading) Familiarity with Kubernetes, Rook, and Ceph CSI drivers Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or cloud-native environments Proficiency with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
