OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for professional growth. Many of our team started in this role and are now in leadership.

Located in sunny Townsville, on Bindal and Wulgurukaba land, your role purpose will be:

Support the operation of a small process activity, including issues, receipts and minor maintenance

Assist in preparation for disposal of stock by the assembly of associated documentation and stores

Assist in maintenance and storage of explosive ordnance including inspect for serviceability, spray painting, label removal, stencilling and packaging

Participate in and support early intervention and reporting of injuries as well as supporting employees to remain in or return to work

Participate in or assist with the movement of stores by road and within a store or depot, which may involve licensed use of mechanical handling and other goods carrying vehicles

Assist in the conduct of facility inspections

Operate data entry systems for the input and retrieval of stores records and information
 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Good numeric, literacy and interpersonal skills

Experience within a warehousing / stores environment - desirable

Experience within the defence industry – desirable
