This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about sales and have a strong understanding of the IBM Ecosystem. As a Storage Brand Partner Specialist - Territory, you will be responsible for prospecting and generating demand, co-selling with IBM Business Partners in front of clients, and influencing client and IBM Business Partner technology decisions. You will also be expected to create a territory plan, communicate with, and advise Business Partners. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with IBM Business Partners within your assigned territory. * Collaborate with Business Partners to co-sell IBM storage solutions to clients. * Understand and communicate IBM storage technology pricing/subscription models. * Utilize IBM tools and processes to accelerate the sales cycle. * Apply Design Thinking methodology to understand and meet client needs. * Achieve IBM Platform and Ecosystem revenue targets within your territory. * Increase Business Partner engagement and contribute to strategic Ecosystem growth metrics. Qualifications: * Prior channel partner sales experience, preferably in the storage industry. * Proven ability to prospect and generate demand. * Strong understanding of the IBM Ecosystem and the opportunity to earn a Partner Ecosystem badge. * Familiarity with IBM tools and processes that accelerate the sales cycle. * Experience with Design Thinking methodology. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. * Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners. Join us in shaping the future of technology sales! **Required technical and professional expertise** * The applicant should demonstrate their specialist skills and experience in a client environment, either internal or external to IBM. * They should have sufficient experience to address complex solutions, perform sizing and capacity planning analysis, advise on redundancy, backup, and recovery solutions, and integrate storage systems in complex environments. * Additionally, they should have knowledge of basic competitive positioning information. * The applicant must provide examples that showcase their capabilities and experience in a project environment.
