Your role at Baxter

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for issuing materials to the service floor. This person also compiles stock reports and performs inventory transactions on the materials kept in stock. The Stockroom Clerk also monitors inventory levels ensuring that inventory is at an acceptable level ensures that KanBan bins are ordered and distributed properly, orders non-KanBan materials, and conducts KanBan inventories. 

What you'll be doing

The Stock Room Clerk ensures that quantities are accurate in the inventory database. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Follow Baxter protocols regarding various inventory transactions (both paper and electronically).Ensure that incoming quantities are correct and that the proper documentation is present.Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage.Ensure that inventory quantities and location reconcile against the inventory database.Performs physical counts, cycle counts, and periodic inventory verification.Issue materials to the production floor and complete system transactions in a timely manner.Cross train in other areas of Materials Management in order to cover for and assist other positions as needed.Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll bring

High School diploma or GED is required.Minimum of 1-3 years of warehouse and/or technical office experience is required.Data entry experience is desirable.Stockroom experience preferred.Well versed in and has knowledge of all transaction screens required to perform verifications, corrections, production floor issues, shortages, returns to stock, and inter-stock transfers.Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation and has the ability to handle often stressful production demandsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cooperate well with other departmentsGood judgment, positive attitude, and a high level of initiativeAbility to differentiate product utilizing proper document/label identifiers.Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.Must be able to count accurately and efficiently.Must be able to identify small components with ability to differentiate between them using their markings.Ability to multitask and perform tasks efficiently with little or no supervision.Proficient in warehouse management systems and computer environments.Ability to understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory guidelines applicable to the industry.Strong assessment and troubleshooting skills.
