Team member will receive materials from outside vendors using mainframe system. This position requires the use of UPS, Federal Express, and other carrier systems to ship products. Includes usage and knowledge of international shipping requirements. Job Duties: + Package boxes, crates and prepare final shipment of large variety of components and assemblies as directed per customer requirements. + Demonstrates an understanding of packaging requirements for each customer and is familiar with certain packaging equipment. + Primary for scanning shippers and associated documents to local drive. + Ordering trucks for shipment of various non-standard deliveries. + Receives, counts, and completes paperwork for incoming parts, products and/or materials and distributes incoming shipment contents. + Acts as last audit point to ensure all receiving documentation is complete, accurate and present. Coordinates with team to resolve issues. + Good record keeping and filing is essential. + As necessary package boxes, trays, crates and prepare final shipment of large variety of components and assemblies as directed per customer requirements. + Demonstrates an understanding of packaging requirements for each customer and is familiar with certain packaging equipment. + Perform any other responsibilities as required and/or directed to support the overall goals of the Operations Team. + Able to train and on-board new employees on functional tasks. + Manage the consignment area for vendor managed inventory. + Cycle count inventory and properly code and dispose on the mainframe and with key stakeholders. + Receiving inbound goods both physically and electronically in mainframe, and stock put-aways physically into appropriate stocking location. + Manage the consignment area for vendor managed inventory. + Cycle count inventory and properly code and dispose on the mainframe and with key stakeholders. + Actively support and implement lean principles. + Actively participates with plant management to resolve conflicts from unpredictable variances affecting the master schedule (changing priorities, engineering changes, material shortages, scrap/repairs, labor shortages, machine availability). + Fosters positive working relationships and responds proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints and other employee relations matters. Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: + High school diploma or GED + 6 months of experience in related area preferred. + Prior knowledge of components and flow of material preferred. Mathematical Skills: + Know basic math including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication; must be able to use a calculator. Perform basic to semi-complex mathematical calculations. Reasoning Ability: + Must have ability to follow verbal and written instructions as needed; must be accurate and detail oriented.
