Job scope

As Stock Operator you are responsible for coordinating and operating daily warehouse activities to ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, preparation and shipment of lens orders.

 

Main Responsibilities and related activities

Daily receipt & placement of products
Identify and place incoming products on designated shelves according to internal stocking indicators. Order picking (lenses)
Retrieve lenses from inventory based on customer-specific picking lists. Order invoicing
Generate invoices according to customer requests. Package preparation
Assemble and prepare parcels for delivery. Document matching
Match lenses with fiscal invoices and dispatch notes. AWB creation & assignment
Prepare delivery documents (AWBs) for courier companies and assign each parcel to the appropriate AWB/carrier. Preparing urgent orders  (“Fast Delivery”)
Handle and prepare urgent orders for same-day delivery. Deadline compliance
Ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines. General warehouse duties
Perform other specific warehouse activities as needed. Medical Equipment 
Reception of Medical Equipment. Medical Equipment: prepare medical equipment for customers, ensuring safe handling and accurate documentation.

Must-have requirements

The Essilor Romania team is looking for a colleague for the Stock and Logistics department.

The role involves operational activities within the warehouse, from receiving goods to preparing deliveries to customers.

Communicative, organized, attentive to details; Good ability to adapt and work in a team, even with tight deadlines; Stress resistance, seriousness and sense of responsibility; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Experience in the logistics field is a plus, but not mandatory.
