CAREER OPPORTUNITY 

The Stock & Additives Process Engineer is an important member of the Paper Machine team. He/she is expected to assist and support both day-to-day and long-term processes of the Stocks and Additives department in accordance with the Paper Machines Department and Quality Assurance Department.  This position requires the capability to manage projects, processes, and people.

Implementation of process/equipment improvement projectsProvides assistance with process troubleshooting and optimization analysisSupport of safety management/improvement projectsImplement systems to improve equipment reliabilityImplement systems to improve operator responsibilitySolve repetitive process/equipment failuresSupport department trainingWork with hourly and salary employees to improve department resultsAssist in maintenance shut down execution of process areasWorking knowledge all safety procedures (including LOTO, fall protection, confined space entry, hot work and JHA for each position, proper guarding, seat belts, dock locks, etc.).  Employee must follow standard work procedures and safe work.

  

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 

BS Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical Engineer preferred)Strong communication and leadership skills with an ability to teach others.Departmental on call duty on a rotating basisMust have analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be reliable and dependent Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
