Position: Stick-Built & Modular Steel Structures Designer Location: Paris, France  Project: NZT Carbon Capture Project 

Airswift is seeking an experienced Stick-Built and Modular Steel Structures Designer to support the NZT Carbon Capture project. The role focuses on the design and coordination of modular and stick-built steel structures, including pipe racks, buildings, and associated steel frameworks within a large EPC environment.

Key Responsibilities Produce guide plans for pipe racks, modular structures (RAPs & UAPs), building frameworks, and miscellaneous steel structures. Develop façade and roof layouts, including roofing and cladding systems. Design and detail specific modular fastening systems required for steel frameworks. Prepare and apply company construction standards and project design rules. Review and verify structural drawings issued by the discipline and consolidate comments from other engineering disciplines. Coordinate and integrate client, vendor, and specialist feedback into final design deliverables. Ensure interface coordination between civil/structural and neighbouring disciplines. Documentation & Project Inputs Technical annexes and project-specific rules Engineering and study standards Unit layouts, plot plans, and building guide plans Structural drawings and general planning documents Project coordination and document control procedures Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Steel Structures / Steel Frame Designer within industrial or EPC projects. Strong knowledge of industrial facilities, modular construction, and steel framework design. Ability to manage upstream and downstream interfaces across multiple disciplines. Solid understanding of project procedures, document circulation, and design workflows. Experience working to project standards, rules, and study instructions. Strong coordination skills with adjacent engineering disciplines. Ability to read and understand technical English documentation. Capable of technical reporting to the Head of the Calculation Section
