Pharmacists ASHP accredited Pharmacy Residency program an active Oncology infusion service and a RetailSpecialty outpatient pharmacyThe Sterile Products Pharmacy Technicians assist Pharmacists in the preparation of non hazardous and hazardous oncology sterile medicationsDuties IncludePrepares non hazardous sterile product preparations eg IV medications adhering to department SOPsPrepares hazardous sterile product preparations eg chemo therapy medications using all appropriate personal protective equipment adhering to department SOPsProperly uses all IV room equipment to prepare assigned compounds in a sterile environmentAssists with cleaning of IV and anterooms as assignedRecords all required environmental monitoring of IV workspace as assignedRestocks IV rooms with an appropriate amount of supplies to meet USP standards and expectations as assignedParticipates in staff meetings department huddles and work groups designed to improve the work flow of the area and department to better meet the needs of patientsMaintains skill and competency in sterile product preparation by completing required education modules and required testingPerforms other related duties as
