Sterile Processing Technician-Day Shift
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will support surgical and clinical teams by ensuring instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and ready for use. Sterile Processing Technician -Anacortes, WA 13 weeks contract Start 2/16/2026 M-F 6am-2:30pm 40 hours per week Travel pay: $1,410 includes Housing $405 & meals $205 weekly Local pay $32 hourly Requirements 1+ years of STP experience + Must have WA STP License + BLS Key responsibilities include: + Decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment + Operating autoclaves and washer sterilizers while maintaining required documentation and quality controls + Preparing and restocking case carts and procedural supplies + Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating supply orders to maintain continuity of care + Maintaining infection prevention standards and regulatory compliance + Responding to urgent and emergent supply needs + Collaborating with clinical teams to support efficient surgical operations + Participating in department training, meetings, and continuous improvement efforts What You Bring + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced healthcare setting + Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset + Working knowledge of medical terminology and surgical instruments preferred + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
