Position: Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Hartford County, CT

Schedule: 4-day workweek (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM) —No weekends or holidays!

Job Description:Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments with precision and care.Prepare and organize trays and equipment for upcoming procedures.Operate autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, and chemical disinfectants.Maintain a clean, efficient, and well-stocked processing area.Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.CRCST certification preferred (training may be available).1+ year of experience in sterile processing or a related field is a plus.Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift heavy trays, handle sharp instruments, and work with manual dexterity.Perks & BenefitsWork-life balance:Enjoy long weekends every week!Supportive team environmentwhere your work is respected.Opportunities for growthand professional development.Make a difference—help ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
