As a valued member of our Sterile Processing department, you will expertly manage the full cycle of surgical instrumentation and equipment, including:
Decontaminating and meticulously cleaning instruments.Assembling and packaging items with utmost care.Utilizing scanning systems for accurate tracking.Performing sterilization procedures to rigorous standards.Organizing storage and facilitating efficient distribution.Job Requirements
Required:
High School Diploma or GED required.Sterile processing experience.Certification in Sterile Processing technology must be obtained within the first year of employment.Ability to prioritize and complete daily assignments. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nursing and other hospital staff. Computer skills and ability to work in a very fast paced environment with emphasis on infection control process required.Preferred:
