TX 75231 Work hours: Full time - 40 Hours; Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with some weekends Central Sterile Processing Highlights: + Very diverse team + Fast - Paced + High Volume Area averaging 35+ sets per staff member/daily Here's What You Need: + H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required + 2 years of Sterile Processing experience required + Sterile processing leadership experience is strongly preferred + CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician upon hire required or + CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire required + Effective communication skills (written and oral) What You Will Do * Manage daily operations by facilitating department call assignment schedules to ensure proper coverage as well as maintaining vacation requests. * Oversee workflow for the best needs of the department. * Assist with employee evaluations. * Coordinates daily workflow to ensure that instrument sets and equipment are available when needed. * Coordinates staff schedule to assure adequate staffing. * Performs other checks as necessary to assure that recommended standards are being followed in the processing/sterilization of instruments. * Ensure the rotation of instrument trays for sharpening, as well as equipment repairs for CSP, Surgery Endoscopy.
