Supervises staff and ensures cleaning and sterility of instruments/equipment. Promotes an effective team environment of collaborative healthcare professionals providing quality care to the patients of AdventHealth-Waterman. Responsible for adhering to the AdventHealth Compliance Plan and to all the rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Establishes, inventories, and maintains adequate par levels of materials. + Monitors and maintains appropriate levels of instrumentation for perioperative, services, including loaner, consignment, and owned inventory. + Monitors, rotates, and removes all outdated and overstocked materials and verifies that par levels are adjusted accordingly. + Notifies Materials Management, OR, and SPD Manager of all outdated supplies that are removed from the par level. + Oversees staff in Sterile Processing Department and provides input for hiring counseling and development conversation activities. Provides ongoing orientation and training. **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : + High School Diploma required. + Four (4) years of Sterile Processing experience. + HSPA, CBSPD- CRCST Certification required.
