Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
Coordinate and oversee special projects as requested by the Sterile Processing ManagerCoordinate the cleaning of Sterile Processing equipment areaDemonstrates ability to provide care/service safely and efficiently for patient care.Maintain inventory of supplies needed to accomplish dutiesOperates the washer/decontaminatorPick-up and drop off all Materials Management equipment and deliver to correct area(s)Proactively communicates with the Distribution Manager to ensure timely cleaning and replenishment of all Materials Management equipment, to include fans, case carts, isolation carts, code carts, commodes, walkers, wagons, pumps and all other necessary equipment to accomplish the mission of Materials ManagementServes as the Sterile Processing representative to all Hospital unitsWears protective gear while performing dutiesMust be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
