The tutor will deliver structured reteaching, focused practice, and scaffolded learning opportunities, with an emphasis on vocabulary development, reading comprehension, writing about texts, and math skill reinforcement. The position also includes instruction in executive functioning strategies to support student success across content areas. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree by start date.
• Teaching license or alternative license to teach at a public school secured by hire date.
Preferred Qualifications Prior teaching experience.
Essential Functions and percent of time: • 70% – Provide small-group and individual instruction for identified K-5 students in reading and math, using evidence-based intervention strategies
• 20% – Data analysis: – review data to develop intervention strategies for students; adjust instructional strategies tailored to student needs.
• 10% – Communicate regularly with parents, teachers and administrators to support student progress and align instructional goals
