Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Production Manager within the steel fabrication industry. This person will oversee daily operations of one of our client's fabrication shop, ensuring projects are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting quality and schedule requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee all shop fabrication activities to ensure on‑time, high‑quality output through the completion of each project. Schedule and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production requirements. Review and interpret structural steel drawings and fabrication details to ensure accuracy before work is released to the production team. Maintain clear communication across shop teams, project managers, and leadership to ensure execution of projects and problem resolution. Lead and document equipment preventative maintenance. Skills and Requirements - 5–10 years of experience managing production or shop operations in steel fabrication. - Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings. - Experience with fabrication management tools such as - FabTroll, Tekla, PowerFab, Bluebeam, or similar systems. - Strong problem‑solving abilities related to materials, labor, production bottlenecks, and equipment maintenance. - Familiarity with ERP/production tracking systems.
