Station QHS Manager
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a QHSE Site Lead for one of their premier clients in Columbus, OH. This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies and initiatives. This role serves as the site’s subject matter expert on quality management systems and external standards such as ISO and GDP, driving continuous improvement in operational processes. Key responsibilities include leading quality improvement projects, developing standard operating procedures, and implementing advanced tools to enhance organizational quality. The role also oversees site safety programs, ensures adherence to local safety regulations, and coordinates training and emergency response planning. Additionally, the QHSE Site Lead manages hazardous materials compliance, maintains training documentation, and ensures timely reporting and investigation of incidents, while collaborating closely with corporate QHSE leadership. Skills and Requirements -5+ years’ experience with Safety in logistics, warehousing and/or transportation. -Degree in safety management, quality management or related field is preferred -Coordinate with Corporate QHSE and the Global Hazardous Materials Manager to ensure personnel in Site are properly trained and comply with the clients Dangerous Goods Policy. -Collaborate with Global QHSE Director to establish local safety training, equipment maintenance and forklift training. -Must contain a OSHA 10 or OSHA certification
