**This internship is a** **full-time, six-month** **commitment in the** **Orlando, FL** **area from** **January 2026 – June 2026.**
**What You Will Do**
**This role is part of the Income Tax group within Tax Operations. Key responsibilities of the internship include:**
**Assisting in the preparation of the company’s state income tax returns for all worldwide business units**
**Gathering and analyzing data, performing computations, and preparing work papers for tax returns, provisions, forecasts and projects**
**Preparing state income tax estimates, extensions and returns for a diverse group of businesses conducting multi-national operations**
**Collaborating with tax, business and accounting partners to obtain data necessary for tax calculations and reporting**
**Researching income tax compliance-related issues**
**Identifying tax process enhancements and automation opportunities**
**Analyzing and preparing responses to state notices**
**Acting as an embedded team member within Disney’s Corporate Tax Center of Excellence (COE)**
**Drafting user manuals for the department to outline Standard Operating Guidelines**
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
**Process Improvement mind set (Tech Savvy)**
**Intermediate Excel – Previous experience with v-lookups, pivot tables, power pivot**
**Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe (able to edit and merge pdf files)**
**Strong ability to learn new computer programs quickly**
**Able to multi-task and possess strong time management skills**
**Adaptable to change, easily pivots**
**Team player who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment**
**Strong analytical thinker that is not afraid to ask questions when needed**
**Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy**
**Preferred Qualifications**
**Some familiarity/knowledge of:**
**SAP**
**OneSource Income Tax**
**Research Institute of America (RIA) or similar research software**
**Alteryx**
**Co-Pilot**
**Education**
**Currently enrolled in a** **GRADUATE** **degree program in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or other related field**
**Eligibility Requirements & Program Information**
**Candidates for this opportunity** **MUST** **meet all of the below requirements:**
**Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a GRADUATE degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR a graduate student currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship**
**Be at least 18 years of age**
**Possess unrestricted work authorization**
**Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program**
**Additional Information**
**Candidate must be fully available to work** **full time hours** **(approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.**
**This internship is an** **on-site position,** **but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.**
**Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation** **for the duration of the internship program**

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $30.40 per hour.
