Do you love startups? Are you passionate about cloud computing? We have an exciting position for you.
Startups are the big companies of the future. These companies are founded by ambitious people with a desire to change the world, build something meaningful, and challenge the status quo. They aim to reach diverse customers or challenge the status quo. They typically operate in an environment of scarcity: whether it's capital, engineering resources, or expertise. This is where you come in.
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startup Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with these emerging companies from their inception through growth, as their businesses expand.
We're here to ensure they have the best technology and architectural practices to create scalable, secure, cost-effective solutions that are ready to go to market on time.
We're looking for technical builders who are passionate about working with early-stage startups to help them grow. In this role, you'll work directly with a variety of exciting clients and help them make the best technical decisions along the way. You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with these companies and become a trusted advisor, their technical confidant.
In addition to working directly with clients, you'll also have plenty of time to sharpen your skills and keep them up-to-date. We offer hundreds of services across many different categories. You'll also play a key role as a representative of our product teams, ensuring we're building the right products for the startups you work with.
Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to share your expertise by creating technical content and presenting at events.
Key job responsibilities
- Engage directly with startup customers to provide technical support as they build their cloud products, ensuring they spend as little time and money as possible in the process.
- Develop plans, along with other team members, to define how to support your customers in the cloud.
- Share your technical expertise by participating in startup-focused sessions for all customers.
- Collaborate with other teams at AWS (e.g., marketing, training) to contribute to the creation of content that can be delivered at scale to the startup community (online videos and digital content).
