We are recruiting a highly experienced Start?Up & Operations Manager to support one of the largest and most strategic LNG megaprojects in the Middle East.
This is a rare opportunity to join a world?class EPCC development delivering two 4.8 mtpa LNG Trains, along with process units, utilities, offsites, storage tanks, and export facilities.
Role OverviewThe Start?Up & Operations Manager will lead the full preparation, planning, coordination, and execution of start?up and operations activities, ensuring a smooth and safe transition from construction/commissioning into steady-state operation.
This role reports directly to the Pre?Commissioning, Commissioning & Start?Up (PCCSU) Manager and will work closely with EPC, licensor, vendor, and O&M counterparts.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all Start?Up and Operations activities across the project scope. Develop and validate the Start?Up Sequence, procedures, strategies, and operational methodology. Promote a strong Safety & Quality culture within all operations groups. Conduct risk assessments and escalate technical or safety issues as needed. Review and update the Operating Manual, including Initial Start?Up procedures. Support Commissioning during N? run tests of compressors. Organize daily activities of the Start?Up / Operations teams; assign systems and equipment for testing. Recommend field modifications to improve operability and commissioning efficiency. Coordinate the mobilization of engineering, vendor, licensor, and specialist support as required. Prepare performance test procedures and manage field execution. Issue monthly progress reports and the final Start?Up report. Ensure safe execution of start?up and operations in accordance with procedures, HSE rules, and SIMOPS constraints. Act as the focal point for all Operation-related topics with the Company. Participate in clarifications with suppliers to integrate Start?Up and Commissioning requirements into design. Qualifications & Requirements 10+ years of experience in LNG Start?Up, Operations, or Commissioning. Strong technical knowledge of LNG processes and Start?Up methodologies. Proven experience on major LNG EPC or EPCC projects. Fluent in English (mandatory). Solid leadership, communication, and team?coordination skills. Experience with site work, operational risks, and SIMOPS management. Familiarity with process, completions, and Start?Up software/tools. Practical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
