**Hiring CNC Punch Operator - Paying $25-$30/hr. - Start ASAP !!!** Job Description We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented CNC Punch Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC punch machines to manufacture precision metal parts and components. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machinery, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products. Responsibilities + Use a computer to nest parts onto sheets. + Set up and calibrate CNC punch machines according to specifications and blueprints. + Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment for accurate punching. + Label parts and organize them onto carts. + Manage inventory of raw materials. + Communicate status of jobs and machines effectively to coworkers. + Perform routine checks and maintain machines, keeping proper levels of hydraulic fluid and greasing bearing surfaces regularly. + Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. + Handle raw materials. + Document part production. + Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. + Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + High school diploma or equivalent. + Technical certification or vocational training in CNC operations preferred. + Previous experience operating CNC punch machines or similar machinery is a plus. + Basic computer skills for machine programming and data entry. + Ability to navigate folder structures and keep files organized on a computer as well as with physical documents. + Must be organized and detail-oriented. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. + Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and gauges. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with CNC machine setup. + Familiarity with machining and calipers. + Previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator or in programming. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our brand new facility will accommodate about 200-250 people on-site once fully staffed. The work environment includes a manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. Safety is a priority; steel-toed boots are required, and safety glasses are provided. Employees must wear long pants made of thicker material and long sleeves or cut-resistant sleeves, which we will help supply. Be prepared to stand or walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25–50 lbs. The position operates on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6 am to 6 pm, with the first week dedicated to comprehensive training. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
