Starbucks Manager
POSITION PURPOSE

The Starbucks Manager is responsible for leading all Starbucks kiosk operations within the store to deliver a premium customer experience while achieving sales, quality, labor, and operational goals. This role ensures brand standards compliance, food safety excellence, and strong associate development while partnering with store leadership to support overall business results.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Leadership & Associate Development Lead, train, coach, and develop Starbucks associates to meet performance, service, and brand standards. Schedule labor effectively to support peak sales periods while controlling labor costs. Maintain accountability for attendance, productivity, service behaviors, and policy compliance. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of Starbucks associates. Starbucks Operations & Brand Execution Oversee daily Starbucks operations, including beverage preparation, food handling, cleanliness, and speed of service. Ensure strict adherence to Starbucks brand standards, recipes, presentation, and customer engagement expectations. Maintain proper ordering, inventory levels, and rotation of products, ingredients, and supplies. Ensure equipment is operational, clean, and maintained according to standards. Sales, Inventory & Financial Performance Monitor sales, labor, waste, and key performance indicators; implement action plans to improve results. Control shrink, spoilage, and waste through accurate forecasting and production planning. Ensure accurate execution of pricing, promotions, and signage. Identify opportunities to grow sales through upselling, promotions, and customer connection. Customer Experience Deliver a consistent, welcoming, and high‑quality Starbucks experience for all customers. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and resolution. Model and reinforce Starbucks customer connection and service standards. Food Safety, Compliance & Collaboration Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety standards. Maintain required documentation, logs, and certifications. Partner with Store Leadership and Service Operations to support storewide goals and initiatives. Ensure compliance with company policies, union agreements (where applicable), and regulatory requirements.
